AspectThey prefer deep or partial shade but will also tolerate full sun if the soil is reliably moist.
CareThey prefer reasonably fertile, moist but well drained soil, which has been enriched with organic matter (e.g. manure). After flowering, lightly trim any branches that spoil the shape of the shrub.
Uses-A very versatile plant that is easy to grow

DescriptionSarcococcas are extremely useful evergreens. They produce wonderfully scented white flowers in winter, that entice you into the garden, when little else does. It is a slow grower with a compact, rounded habit. Its glossy green leaves brighten up fairly dry, shady areas, where not much else would grow.
