| Care | Grow in fertile, moist but well drained soil Plant hardy fucshias with the base of the stem 5cm (2inches) below the surface of the soil, and protect them with a deep winter mulch of bark chippings or similar. Plant non-hardy fuchsia in Summer when frosts have passed. Cut the old stems of hardy fuchsias to the ground in Spring. |
