Price £ 7.50 / each
ColoursBlue
SizeHeight:3m / 10ft
Spread:3m / 10ft
AspectThey prefer sun or partial shade, with shelter from cold, drying winds if possible.
CareNeeds moist, well drained, fertile soil. Allow this plant plenty of space and give it a hard prunein early Spring (before it produces its flowering shoots). Cut off all the previous year's flowering wood so that only a woody base (as low as 25cm or 10inches in exposed gardens or 60cm/24inches if the shrub is positioned at the back of a border.)Cut each plant back to a pair of healthy buds, at the required height. This severe pruning also works well on plants that have been neglected. If you don't prune this plant, it will get ridiculously tall with a flowers only at the tips (making them quite difficult to see unless you happen to be a giant!)
