| Care | A low maintenance plant, but they must have a well drained soil. Trim every year in early Summer or Spring. Use shears to create a neat, curved outline. The aim is to remove shoot tips but NEVER cut into old wood (as lavenders will not re-grow from old wood!). If you do thus every year you will prevent your lavender from becoming leggy. Trim lightly again after flowering to remove faded flower stalks. |
