| Description | This is a stunning little evergreen. What it lacks in size, it more than makes up for with its dazzling coloured foliage. Leaves start off reddish-purple, then evolve to green, and then transform into a flame-like red. This striking evergreen plant grows wild in the mountain valleys of India, China and Japan, so while this plant is pretty tought, taking temeratures down to -5 degrees Celsius, it may not survive a really cold winter. |
