Description
These tasty crops can be grown nearly all year round, and keep nicely when stored. Round rooted or short varieties can be planted straight into the ground or even in tubs, to make growing your own easy. We sell mostly 'Resista Fly' which is resistnt to carrot root fly (which is the carrot's only real enemy).Planting these varieties is better than sowing seed, which often has an uneven rate of germination, and requires thinning! You could also try mixing carrots in with your plant borders (their delicate leaves can look very attractive in planting schemes).
