CareWater well until established. These plants like quite a fertile soil so add some well rotted organic matter before planting. Look out for Cabbage root fly, mealy Cabbage aphids, Cabbage catarpillars, flea beatles, clubroot, brassica white blister and pigeon. It is recommended to cover them with fleece to prevent some of these problems.
DescriptionThis is a very hardy crop that actually prefers cold weather! Aan be grown allo year round. Some varrieties grow quite big, so you will need to either choose smaller varieties or choose a big bed with planty of room. Some varieties such as the Red Cabbage, can look quite striking.
