Care
Needs humus rich, moisture retentive soil. This is an ideal inter-cropper between slower growing plants. Water if needed in dry weather. If flea beatle is a problem, grow under fleece or a fine mesh netting. Improve the soil with an organic fertiliser before planting. Plant every three weeks for a successional crop.

-Useful in salads or stir-frys

Description
This fast growing salad crop can be eaten raw or lightly cooked. It has a crisp texture and subtle flavour. Leaves, stems and flowering shoots are all edible.
