Description
Ridge cucumbers can be grown outside, and produce rough, spiny fruits which are 10-15cm (4-6inches) long. There are other varieties which need to be greenhouse grown and produce smooth fruits, from flowers that do not set pollination. Cucumbers can be an interesting and unusual ornamantal feature when grown up a fence or archway.
