Price £ 1.25 / each
Coloursgreen/yellow
SizeHeight: 60cm/2ft
Spacing:1.2m/4ft

CareThe soil should not be too fertile, as this will encourage leaf growth as opposed to fruit growth. Keep picking the fruits, even without need, because if you allow courgettes grow into marrows no more fruits will be produced. You should de-weed regularly, and mulch the plants with straw once they are growing well. Only water until established, otherwise fruits will become massive!
Uses-Abundant cropper
-Good weed suppressing groundcover plant for taller plants such as beans and sweetcorn
-bush varieties can have gorgeous foliage and fruits which fit in well with an ornamental garden.
DescriptionCourgettes are basically a marrow that has been prematurely picked. These half hardy plants can be grown outside or under cover. Cougettes are generally smaller than marrow, without the rough and hairy texture of their skins. Trailing cultivars are good for underplanting tall crops such as runner beans or sweetcorn, whereas bush varieties are more compact, and a better option if space is limited.
