Care
Peppers need a warm, fertile soil. Taller plants need a cane for support. They should be watered regularly in dry weather, and pot plants should be fed with a high potash liquid fertiliser. Ideally humidity in the greenhouse should be maintained, which involves damping down everyday. You should pick them whilst they are still green, as this will encourage the production of more fruits. After 2-3 weeks the peppers will ripen and the flavour will be sweeter.
Uses
-Very versatile to cook with
Description
Peppers have a fantastic sweet flavour, making them a popular choice raw or cooked in a variety of cooking styles. They originated from tropical climates, so need warmth to grow, with a minimum temperature of 21 degrees Celsius to crop well.
