| Care | Plant in May. The soil should be well drained. They don't need much attention, but should be watered in dry weather when the bulbs start to swell. Harvest from about July onwards (or when the leaves are dying back). Lift the bulbs, and allow them to dry completely. Once they are dry, separate them into individual bulbs and either store them in a dry place or pickle them in vinegar. |
