AspectPrefers full sun or partial shade.
CareMust have a moist, rich soil to do well. Add plenty of well rotted organic matter to the soil before planting. They will not thrive in soils that dry out in the summer. Every 3-4 years clumps should be lifted and divided.
Uses-moist bog garden/waters edge
-Can be grown in containers but will have to be kept well watered
-Looks great in a mixed bed/border
-Can work nicely as part of a cottage garden/informal planting theme
DescriptionThis plant has a prominent form and colour with its tiny raspberry flowers forming flower spikes (from July to August). The leaves are serrated and glossy green. It has a compact habit. Fully hardy.
