They prefer full sun, although they will tolerate some shade.
Care
Echinaceas need deep, fertile, well drained soil. You should add plenty of well rotted organic matter to the soil before planting. To extend the flowering period, cut back the flowers as they fade so that more will be produced.

-They add height and interest to any bed/border

Description
A large perennial with eye catching large daisy-like flowers. Each flower measures up to 15cm/6inches across! Flowers last for about 2 months, from July to September and are also a long lasting cut flowers. Even once they have finished flowering, the seed heads will look attractive into winter! An undemanding high impact plant. Fully hardy.
