AspectFull sun or dappled shade.
CareNeeds a moist but well drained soil, will tolerate drought but not waterlogged soil. Add organic manure. If it gets too dry it will hibernate (and look untidy) from July onwards. If this happens you can cut back the dead bits. Plant in the middle of a border so it can be hidden if it looks untidy.

DescriptionA cheery plant that produces bright yellow flowers. Extremely easy to grow!
From mid-spring until mid-summer. During autumn the leaves turn crimson. It is a very good ground cover, but it can be a bit invasive, as they self seed freely. Fully hardy.
