They grow well in sun or shade.
Care
Hellebores will tolerate most soil types, although they dislike waterlogged soils. They prefer a neutral or alkaline (limy) soil over an acidic one. Dig in plenty of well rotted manure before planting, and add a protective organic mulch in autumn.
Uses
-They add winter interest to any mixed bed/border
-They suit a natural woodlnad setting
-They grow well with other winter flowering shrubs such as Hazels, Sarcococcas and Viburnums
-Low maintenance
Description
Hellebores are mainly evergreen perennials and offer winter interest. Theh are hardy and easy to grow. Their leaves are glossy, and they subtle coloured flowers are long lasting.
