AspectThey prefer full sun or partial shade, but will also grow in full shade.
CareThey should be grown in deep, reasonably fertile soil, which is reliably moist. They look at home near a stream or pond, where they will love the moist soil. Provide shelter from strong winds, otherwise plants may need staking with twiggy sticks.
Uses-Ideal for the back of beds/borders to add height
-Grow well near ponds
-Grow with other moisture loving plants such as Astilbes and Hemerocallis.
DescriptionThese are very large, striking plants, making them ideal for the backs of beds/borders. Flower spikes consisting of many small daisy flowers are vibrantly coloured, and are produced from July until September. The leaves are usually large and heart shaped. Fully hardy.
