AspectIf in the garden this plant needs full sun, preferably a south facing wall. You can prolong its life, by bringing it indoors when the weather is cold, like most herbs, it enjoys a south facing windowsill. Will die in the frost.
CareNeeds a very well drained soil, should be watered regularly, but never over watered. It prefers an acidic soil, but will grow in alkaline as well.If the leaves are wilting, water the plant thoroughly, and then immediately put it in full sun. Pinch off the flowers to encourage foliage growth instead, this will also make the plant bushier.
