| Description | Sage is an easy to grow, low maintenance plant, originally from the Mediterranean. It is wonderful for cooking (seasons poultry, stuffing, pork sausages, lamb and some vegetables). Sage tea is also very good for you. It has antiseptic properties. On top of this, its attractive foliage (and small flower spikes) make it a welcome addition to beds/borders. |
